To be honest, I'm thinking it's just silver dye.

My proof? My I used Silver on my Ranger's Shing Jea mask and gloves and it couldn't be closer to white if you turned up the brightness on the monitor...

It usually just silver, sometimes mixed with a small amount of another type. Dyes react differently on each different armor but silver usually does it.

i heard that yellow + silver + silver + silver makes a white, and its the method that people use to make ritualist armor white.

the dye reacts with the armor too. depending on the armors makeup (clothe or tanned hides i.e) then the dye will turn out a different color. for example if you use black dye on tats it might turn out a gray color that can also be achived thorugh silver dye.

and yeah silver fang that makes a kinda white dye really depending on what armor you use it on :{
